2007 Denver Broncos Quarterback Club Events Recap

5/24/2007 Premier Showing of 2006 Denver Broncos NFL Highlight Film by Jim Saccomano of the BRONCOS and Bob Smith of NFL Films.

8/16/2007 Kicked off 2007 year by watching the 'History of the Broncos' film. Former Coach Red Miller provided some humorous anecdotes we had never heard before.

9/13/2007 Jim Saccomano presented his new book 'Games of My Life: Denver Broncos', autographed books and held a Q & A session about the 2006-2007 season.

10/18/2007 Coach Mike Shanahan entertained us with a highly informative meeting and stayed to sign autographs for every member in attendance (unusual occurrence at any venue!). Mike was on his way home from picking up his father, Ed Shanahan, two sisters and nephew at DIA. They were provided a DBQBC BRONCOS standing ovation and joined in our fun.

11/15/2007 Alumni Day with Billy Thompson and Larry Brunson provided some very interesting remarks (not necessarily the company line) concerning the last couple of years.

11/23/2007 Kid's Day the DBQBC provided lots of goodies for our kids and grandkids, along with a visit from Mr and Mrs Santa Claus.

12/6/2007 Adrian Dater, Sports writer for the Denver Post was selected to write a book along with Jim Turner titled :'The Good, The Bad and The Ugly about the Broncos'. He was our speaker and a great addition. Members donated Christmas Gifts for various Childrens Charities.

12/12-12/16/2007 Away Game Trip against the Houston Texans and Coach Gary Kubiak. Even though the BRONCOS weren.t successful, a good trip was had by everyone.

1/10/2008 Mark Jackson, #80, one of the Three Amigos, from Altitude Sports and Allen Roache, side line reporter for KOA Radio shared their perspective on Broncos Football, Past and Present. Contrary to popular belief the .Drive. was not Marks most memorable catch. It was his first catch that did not get called back because of a penalty. He still wears his Elway Cross! Allen Roache's voice welcomes travelers to DIA and is recognized world wide.
